Celebrating Our Legacy

The year 2026 A.D. marks the 135th anniversary of First Baptist Ralls. The church was founded in 1891 by Rev. J.W. Wynn and twenty other dedicated Christians as the Emma Baptist Church. The congregation later moved to Ralls and was renamed the First Baptist Church of Ralls in 1915.

To celebrate this milestone and remember our heritage, we have designated September 6 as Legacy Sunday. Brother T.J. Messer, who was our pastor from 2010 through 2018, will be our guest preacher on that day as we celebrate what God has done in and through this congregation over the last 135 years.
