Church Health Survey Report

“Thank you” to everyone who completed the Know Your Church survey. This information will be very beneficial to the Church Health Committee as they seek to help us grow in every area and increase our impact for God’s kingdom.

The results are encouraging in two ways. First, they have highlighted key strengths in worship, prayer, ministry, and doctrine. The chart above shows the overall scores by category. After carefully examining the data, I believe we are even healthier in these areas than the chart indicates.

I was especially encouraged to see that the overwhelming majority of you agreed that you

sensed that you truly worshiped God here, that our worship services strengthened your faith, and that you would excitedly invite others to join us.

The first area we plan to focus on for improvement is fellowship. Several of you

mentioned concerns about unresolved conflict. If we are to grow spiritually or numerically, we must be united. I plan to preach through the book of Ephesians beginning April 19. This grand letter focuses on the work of Christ and how it brings us peace with God and each other. We are also scheduling fellowship events to encourage members to build relationships with one another.

I will give a more detailed report on the survey results and our efforts at continual growth at our business meeting on April 19. If you want to see the full 38-page Know Your Church Report, copies are available in the church office. If you have questions or know of issues that I can help to resolve, please reach out to me.
