Getting Ready for Summer

As the farmers prepare for planting season, we are focused on cultivating the seeds of God’s word planted in young hearts and continuing to plant more seeds

Kidzone was a big success! We sometimes had as many as 60 youth and children learning about God on Wednesday nights. Each child was given a Bible and taught about God’s love for them and how God is at work in our lives and our world. Pictured is our PreK-1st grade class with their Beginner’s Bibles.

Vacation Bible School will be our next big event for children. It will be held on June 1-4. Our theme this year is Emerald Crossing. We will focus on bringing hope to an anxious generation. There will be food, crafts, music, games, and more as we explore Psalm 23 and the life of King David. 

We are also encouraging kids and youth to  join us at Plains Baptist Camp. Girls camp is June 25-28, boys camp is July 5-8, and youth camp is July 12-16. Every time I have been to camp, God has worked in hearts and lives and I am excited to see what He will do this year.
